About The Practitioner

Lowell Noble

Lowell graduated from James Madison College, Michigan State University with a BA in Justice, Morality, and Constitutional Democracy, became a successful IT Systems Support Administrator and studied massage at Diamond Light School of Massage and Healing in San Anselmo, CA from 2005 to 2022. He has worked with personal clients and at the Healing Room and Bodywise in San Rafael, CA

His modalities are LomiLomi, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Lymphatic Drainage, Pre-Natal, Post-Natal, Sports, Myofacial Release, Nuromuscular Release, Reflexology, Tui Na, Table Shiatsu, and Acupressure.

What massage modalities do you incorporate into your sessions? I integrate all of the modalities that I have learned into a session. I often start with a few minutes of Shiatsu and Myofascial Release in problematic areas. I integrate a LomiLomi rhythm and include a few minutes of Reflexology in every session.

What’s your bodywork philosophy? I have learned massage from masters and I try to perfect what I was taught. I develop the right intention, recognize the body's energy, be present in the moment, and develop my knowledge of the client's body, which allows me to choose the best techniques, pressure, speed, and rhythm.

What do you feel you can offer to a client?
I'm strong and can reach down deep into the body if needed. I am emotionally present and open to an emotional release. Massage can bring out emotions, which I believe are best felt and released in the moment. My ideal client is open to healing, wants to relax and is willing to be present together to resolve problems through the healing power of massage and touch.

Why do you enjoy performing massage? Doing massage is very relaxing. I need to be present to pay attention to what the person’s body is telling me through touch. Massage is also an energetic and karmic balance to my martial arts practice.
